Good day, everyone.
A period of quiet weather is underway.
Hurricane Sally is pounding portions of the Gulf of Mexico coastline. Thankfully, it continues to trend further south and east. That means our region will not feel any impacts.
We will have a cold front entering the region today and tonight. A couple of light showers will be possible along the front. The vast majority of the region will be dry. Where it does rain it won’t add up to more than a trace to 0.05″.
Cooler weather is already spreading into the region. This will last into next week.
The coolest nights will likely be Friday and Saturday. Much of the region will dip into the 40s to lower 50s. Autumn weather.
Dry weather through Monday. Not much going on in our region!
