Our region will experience a warming trend starting on Monday. We should experience highs from 85 to 90 by Wednesday and Thursday.
I am not anticipating precipitation through Wednesday night.
A strong cold front will push through the region on Thursday and Friday. You can expect the front to produce a few showers or thunderstorms. I will cap precipitation chances at 30% (for now). Moisture will be limited ahead of this cold front. I will monitor trends.
The threat for severe weather, during frontal passage, is low.
The front should exit the area Friday night or Saturday morning. Lower confidence on the exact timing of frontal passage.

- Minimize the “hype” that you might see on television or through other weather sources
- Push you towards utilizing wall-to-wall LOCAL TV coverage during severe weather events
