Well, your weatherman is enjoying the calm. I know it won’t last, but let’s enjoy it.
Don’t forget that autumn tornado season is upon us. Severe weather isn’t uncommon in autumn.
Temperatures were well below seasonal averages yesterday. The clouds kept it even cooler. Many locations remained in the sixties! The coolest weather since last May.
The primary weather story over the coming days will be whether the clouds clear out. We’ll likely have on-and-off clouds. That will mess with high temperatures.
Areas with more sun will pop into the 70s. Cloudier areas will stay cooler.
Temperatures should moderate into the 80s later this weekend into early next week. Perhaps mid-80s.
There is a small chance of showers on Sunday. Mainly over Missouri.
A stronger storm system will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region towards the middle of next week.
