What is the primary weather concern today and tonight?

No weather concerns through Friday.

Here are the early morning current conditions. These are the 4 AM readings.

The rain event produced less than one inch in some counties. It produced more than two inches in others.

The seven-day rainfall forecast for last week was a widespread one to two inches of rain.

I am monitoring Saturday and Sunday for our next chance of showers and thunderstorms.

A lot of data is showing Friday through Sunday dry. An area of high pressure in the Gulf of Mexico could shut down moisture transport farther northward.

If that is the case, then rain chances will remain in the 10 to 20% range. Monitor updates concerning the Friday through Sunday forecast. Adjustments are possible.

It will be quite warm from Wednesday into Sunday. Above-average temperatures.
