Our weather patten has been fairly quiet over the last few days.
I am thankful for that since I am at the National Weather Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.
Some of us, however, also need rain.
The bad news is that it appears today through Saturday will be mostly dry or dry. Just a tiny chnace of a shower Thursday into Saturday.
The good news is that a cold front will approach the region Sunday and Monday. This will bring at least scattered shwoers and thunderstorms to the region.
The rain should linger into Tuesday, as well.
Rain totals of 0.00″ to 0.50″ are anticipated. Thunderstorms can always produce much higher totals.
At this time, the threat of severe weather appears minimal.
Temperatures are going to be warm into the weekend. Some areas will top out around 90 degrees. Overnight lows mostly in the 60s.

What am I looking at?
You are looking at different models. Meteorologists use many different models to forecast the weather. All models are wrong. Some are more wrong than others. Meteorologists have to make a forecast based on the guidance/models.
I show you these so you can see what the different models are showing as far as precipitation. If most of the models agree, then the confidence in the final weather forecast increases.
