  •   A cool day ahead of us.

Welcome to the weekend!

Today and tomorrow.

We are waking up to chilly conditions.

Here were the official 5 am temperatures.  It was even colder than this in some backyards.

Temperatures will likely have fallen a few more degrees since this graphic was posted.

Here was the Wundergroup temperature map as of 6 AM.  Double-click on the image to enlarge it.

.

Another calm weather day ahead of us.  It will be seasonably cool.  Highs will be in the sixties.

We will have increasing clouds later today and tonight.

Here was the 6 AM satellite image.  You can see the clouds gathering to our west.  They are spreading eastward.

.

Saturday will deliver quite a few clouds.  Cool temperatures.  A sprinkle, at most.

Guidance has finally come into better agreement on our rain probabilities.

The bulk of our rain event will hold off until late Saturday night into Sunday night.

.

The Weekend Weather

Sunday will be wet.

If you have outdoor plans on Sunday, then have a plan B.  There will be rain on the weather radars.  Spreading west to east across the region.  You may have to move your event indoors.

Rainfall totals from late Saturday night into Sunday night will be a bit lower north vs south.

Let me show you that.

This is for Saturday night through 7 AM Monday.

.

Then, additional showers are likely next week.  Here are the rainfall totals from 7 AM Monday to 7 AM Wednesday.

.

.
.

Monday through Thursday is shaping up to deliver a mixture of sun and clouds.  Spotty showers are likely.

It will not rain all the time.  The rain chances on Monday through Thursday will likely remain scattered.  I capped the chances at 30 to 40%.

An upper-level low will push across the region.

It will remain cool next week.  As a matter of fact, temperatures may remain below normal through much of the week.  Nothing extreme, but autumn cool.

Halloween is shaping up to be cool.  Partly cloudy sky conditions.  Highs in the 50s/60s.  Lows in the 40s.

More information on the WeatherCall subscription service at the link below or use the QR code.

.
We have a new service to complement your www.weathertalk.com subscription.  This does NOTreplace www.weathertalk.com It is simply another tool for you to receive severe weather information.

.
I use it myself. I encourage everyone to have 3 to 5 ways of receiving their severe weather information. All sources can fail, and the more sources you have, the better prepared you will be in the event of severe weather warnings.
.
WeatherCall will call your cell phone or home number if your home is under a tornado or severe thunderstorm warning.  It only calls you ifyour home is inside the warning box/polygon. If you are outside the warning box/polygon it will not disturb you.
Here is a video with more information and a demonstration of how it works.
