What is the primary weather concern?
No significant concerns through Wednesday afternoon. It will be cold this morning. A warming trend begins today.
Gusty winds today. Gusts above 25 mph are likely. Some gusts above 35 mph are possible. Use caution if burning brush.
Our next rain chance arrives Wednesday night and Thursday. A small chance of thunder. No severe weather concerns. Rain totals continue to go down with this system. Seems that has been the theme over the last few months.
Another chance of light rain on Sunday and Monday. Light totals with both events.
.
These were the 5 am temperatures.
A chilly start to the day.

Friday’s high temperatures. A bit nicer.

.
Today into Wednesday Afternoon
No significant concerns. It will be windy today, with wind gusts likely above 25 mph.
Use caution if burning leaves or brush. The fire risk is elevated.
.
Wednesday into Sunday Afternoon
Rain chances will increase on Wednesday night and Thursday.
This is not a big rain event. A bit higher totals as you travel eastward in the region. Lower to the west.
There will be a range of rain totals. The totals continue to go down. As I mentioned 24 hours ago. I suspected the WPC/NOAA totals were too high.
Some locations may receive little or no rainfall. Less than 0.10″.
They continue to drop, and we may not be finished with them dropping. Seems we can’t buy a soaking rain around here.
We need this rain. We are in a drought. Even though the surface may be muddy, the long-term drought is the problem. Deeper soil moisture.
