- A cold Halloween
- Snow flurries or light rain Tuesday/Tuesday night.
- Hard freeze tonight and tomorrow night. A chance of frost Thursday night, as well.
Weather advice:
Make sure you have three to five ways of receiving your severe weather information.
.Forecast Discussion
A cold and frosty morning across the region. Saburina Hodge took this photographs near Eddyville, Kentucky.
.
We are waking up to cold temperatures. A hard freeze impacted the region.
Here were the 7 AM temperatures.
As we prepare for Halloween night, beware the cold’s might, With temperatures in the 20s, it won’t be a warm sight. Gusty north winds will howl and bite, Making it a chilly and bone-chilling delight.
The little ghouls and goblins, dressed for the fun, In costumes so creative, under the moon and the sun. But the wind will whip, and it won’t be much fun, So bundle up tight, and stay warm, everyone!
Wind chill values will plummet, into the twenties they’ll dive, As the brisk gusts of air, through the trees they’ll arrive. So wear extra layers, don’t let warmth deprive, And together we’ll ensure Halloween’s spirit will thrive.
Parents, be vigilant, watchful, and near, As the night grows darker, the cold becomes clear. But with smiles on their faces, and no sign of fear, Our little trick-or-treaters will have a night to remember, my dear.
Though the weather’s quite chilly, and the winds do blow, Halloween’s magic will sparkle, and the spirits will flow. So grab your costumes, and with laughter aglow, We’ll make this Halloween special, no matter how cold the woe.
Happy Halloween to all, let’s brave the cold breeze, With candy and laughter, and plenty of ease. For even in chilly weather, as all can agree, Halloween’s enchantment is a true masterpiece!
Happy Halloween!
The only weather concern will be the cold temperatures. We had a hard freeze last night. We will have an even harder freeze tonight.
I am watching a cold front Saturday night into Monday night (models vary on timing). This could bring a quick hitting round of showers to the region. For now, confidence in the shower chances isn’t that great. I have capped them at 20%. I will monitor today’s data and update again tomorrow.
Other than that, I am watching a bigger system the second week of November.
