Dry conditions will continue for the next several days. Temperatures will warm significantly through early next week. This will lead to several days with daily minimum RH values of 35-40%. In the short term, good mixing and southerly transport winds of 10-15 kts will promote good conditions for smoke dispersal through Saturday.
A Haines Index of 6 means a high potential for an existing fire to become large or exhibit erratic fire behavior, 5 means medium potential, 4 means low potential, and anything less than 4 means very low potential.

Beau’s Forecast Discussion
Another nice day is on tap for the region. I don’t have any weather concerns.
Again, I hope you have been able to enjoy it.
A warming trend begins tomorrow. Temperatures will rise into the 70s and 80s again today.
Hot weather returns this weekend with widespread 90s making an appearance.
It will be a bit more humid Sunday into much of next week, but not extreme. Temperatures will be hot. A little humid.
I am expecting dew points to rise into the 60s. Dew point is what makes it feel muggy. Over the last two months we experienced temperatures in the 90s with dew points in the 70s and 80s. That made it very uncomfortable. Temperatures in the 90s with dew points in the 60s isn’t as bad.
You can expect heat index values in the 95 to 105 degree range next week.
I am watching the middle and end of next week for the potential for a few showers and thunderstorms. For now, however, there is not a strong signal to add precipitation to the forecast. I will monitor it.
