Weather Discussion
Quiet weather will be with us through Sunday morning. A great week for travel.
We start the week off a little cool and then a warming trend into the weekend.
As a matter of fact, I can’t rule out some locations hitting sixty on Christmas Eve and Day. Looks likely. Our odd December continues.
A weak cold front will push into the region Friday and Saturday. I did add more clouds to the forecast Friday/Friday night. Maybe a light shower. Nothing of significance.
I am watching next Sunday and Monday for some showers. Light rain showers. WPC shows that in this rainfall outlook for next Sunday night/Monday.

Some of the charts show cold air arriving around the first part of January. We shall see. At some point, winter must show up. Right?
December has been warm nearly nationwide with well above anomalies. Some locations have witnessed their warmest December on record. Many are in the top five.

What am I looking at?
You are looking at different models. Meteorologists use many different models to forecast the weather. All models are wrong. Some are more wrong than others. Meteorologists have to make a forecast based on the guidance/models.
I show you these so you can see what the different models are showing as far as precipitation. If most of the models agree, then the confidence in the final weather forecast increases.
