Good morning, everyone

Short and sweet today.  Not much is going on weather-wise.

There will be increasing clouds today from the northwest.

High pressure remains in control of our local weather.

We are waking up to temperatures in the upper 30s to the mid-40s across the region.

A beautiful day ahead of us.  No weather concerns.  The same will be true into the weekend and likely into early next week.

A weak system will pass through the region on Friday night.  A couple of light showers are possible over southern Illinois and northwest Kentucky.  Don’t expect much.

Perhaps a few clouds from time to time early next week, but it will likely remain dry.

I continue to watch a few cold fronts after the 18th of the month.  Too soon for details on strength and impacts.

I use it myself. I encourage everyone to have 3 to 5 ways of receiving their severe weather information. All sources can fail, and the more sources you have, the better prepared you will be in the event of severe weather warnings.
